Channel 4 News takes over the Bishop Partridge Hall

On Thursday 14 May Channel 4 News took over the Bishop Partridge Hall for part of their prime time evening news programme.
Church House's Westminster location was the perfect choice for Channel 4 as a high profile panel of MP's and public discussed the thorny issue of MP's expenses live on air.
Once again we have our excellent in house audio visual team to thank for pulling off this last minute event; the initial enquiry only came in at midday on the day of the broadcast and the room only became available to set up at 3.30pm.
So between 3.30pm and going live on air at 7.00pm, it was all hands on deck, with a really great effort from the whole team at Church House. Well I say all, where was the new General Manager? Well I am afraid I had taken the day off for a pressing engagement of my own, on a golf course!! So you can imagine the surprise I got when I sat down to watch Channel 4 News that evening!
