Business is certainly not 'Going Down the Pan' at Church House

Business is certainly not 'Going Down the Pan' at Church House

When the phone rings at the beginning of April and it's a film crew wanting to do some location filming work at Church House Conference Centre in Westminster, my first reaction is; "Yes of course ... where would you like to film?"

Maybe in the newly refurbished Assembly Hall, or the historic Convocation Hall or even the beautiful Bishop Partridge Hall with its stunning views of Westminster Abbey?

"Well actually" came the reply, "we would like to film a TV commercial in the ladies toilets!"

As most of us are aware, there are busier months for conferences and events than April and so I thought, why not?

By the time the event was confirmed, the team at Church House had secured a full days' hire and catering for 35 people including a buffet lunch, admittedly not the biggest piece of business ever seen at the venue, but certainly one of the most unique.

So for all you TV buffs out there watch out for the ladies toilets at Church House, coming to a screen near you!
